Frequently Asked Questions

What sort of mosquito net is right for my needs?:

The type of net you need depends on what type of travelling you will be doing, the sorts of accommodation you will be staying in and what sort of bed you will be sleeping in.

Wedge Net and Compact Bell Net
The wedge net and compact bell net are designed for in-door use and need to be suspended from something (e.g. hook on ceiling), so you need to bear this in mind if you are going to be travelling around and are not sure whether or not you will have anything to hang it off. You can also use wardrobe doors and picture hooks as hanging points if you can't reach the ceiling.

Both of these nets are already impregnated with Long Lasting DAWA Impregnation and both come with a hanging kit included.

The wedge net is for single person use only and is small and light, ideal for travellers who need to carry as little as possible.

The compact bell net is a double net that can be used on either a single or a double bed, it is light and fairly compact for a double net.

Pop-up nets
The pop-up net does not need any fixings and it is much thicker than the other nets we stock and so is suitable for indoor and also for outdoor use too. Because it is thicker these types of net can be a little hot, but they are great because they don't need any hanging points and a must if you are going to be sleeping outside at all during your trip. Pop up nets are a little bulkier to carry compared to other nets.

Baby nets
The baby net is the only non-impregnated net that we stock and can therefore be used on babies from birth. It is suitable for hanging over cots and playpens. If required, the net can be impregnated as the child gets older. The baby net comes with a hanging kit included.
